LAND HO!
After I sent my email yesterday the wind had died and we
started motoring. Moral was low as we
wanted to be saving diesel etc. About 20
minutes later we were given a gift of a beautiful southwest wind that allowed
us to sail a reach before a following sea.
No Southern Cross but we have certainly made it to Ireland.
We are currently ghosting up the coast in the mist and
rain trying to decide if we can spare the diesel to get moving a bit faster.
